Complete Stage-1 Clutch Basket Assemblies come with blue (medium strength) coil springs, ideally suited for diverse operating conditions in engines producing up to 150 HP. Alternative spring rates can be provided to accommodate applications with increased horsepower demands. Our Baskets are CNC machined from high quality aluminum forgings, making them much stronger and more durable than the O.E. Factory Baskets. They are Mil-Spec. hard-anodized to deliver outstanding resilience and structural integrity. Furthermore, these assemblies incorporate 7075 forged aluminum drive sprockets, offered in both 36-tooth and 37-tooth configurations. Starter ring gears are available in 66-tooth, 84-tooth, and 102-tooth variants, constructed from high grade steel. We recommend our 84-tooth Easy Start set-up. A matching pinion gear is included. We recommend replacing your pinion gear when installing a new ring gear to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
